While at a press conference in Iraq, an Iraqi reporter got all brawlick on Dubya and threw his shoes at him mid sentence. In Arab culture, throwing your shoes at someone is the ultimate sign of disrespect.
I'm sure that in ANY culture throwing your shoes at someone is considered a sign of disrespect but leave it to those funny Iraqis to make it a worldwide phenomenon.
